As part of the Tough Mudder Toronto Spring 2013 Event we are offering weekend camping here at the park.  This is a great time to reunite with friends and family who are participating in the event and relax after running the course.

Coming to Burl's Creek Family Event Park in 2013

The Cold War Heroes Air Show is coming to Burl's Creek Family Event Park July 12-14th, 2013.  The show will honor the men and women who served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War as 2013 is the 60th and 40th Anniversaries of the two conflicts.  See aircraft that would have been in the skies over Korea and Vietnam right here at the Park.  It will be an exciting weekend you will not want to miss.

More from IAAPA in Orlando, Florida

We have been busy this year already getting ready for a great 2012!!!

The fields may be empty at the park this week as winter sets in upon Ontario for what remains of 2011 but the staff at Burls Creek have been busy getting ready for the 2012 season.  This past week we attended the 2011 IAAPA trade show in Orlando, Florida and we got to see some amazing displays as always.  IAAPA is the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions and each year they put on a large trade show featuring what is new in the event and amusement park industry.  This show has everything from logistics solutions, food concession items, to roller coasters and water slides.  If you have seen it at an amusement or theme park chances are they got it from one of the vendors at IAAPA.

To give you an idea of what we saw at this years show here are just a few images of the show.

Sunday Car Auction
